Confidentiality & Privacy Policy

The law protects the relationship between a client and a psychotherapist, and information cannot be disclosed to others without written permission.

Exceptions include:

  • Suspected child abuse or dependent adult or elder abuse, for which I am required by law to report this to the appropriate authorities immediately.

  • If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person/s, I must notify the police and inform the intended victim.

  • If a client intends to harm himself or herself, I will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in ensuring their safety. If they do not cooperate, I will take further measures without their permission that are provided to me by law in order to ensure their safety.

Insurance & Private Pay

We are in-network with most major health insurances including Aetna, Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Lutheran Preferred, Physicians Health Plan (PHP), Sagamore, Signature Care, Three Rivers Preferred, United Health Care and UMR. We may also participate in Employee Assistance Plans (EAPs) depending on the company. We do not accept Medicaid or Medicare or Tricare. Master level clinicians, including associate licensed therapists, cannot be independently in-network with insurance companies and may have supervision requirements for billing services.

While we will assist you in checking your insurance benefits, we encourage all clients to call and check with the insurance companies regarding their mental health benefits/ coverage. Please do this before your first appointment, so that you have an understanding of your financial responsibility for services (co-pays, deductibles, etc.) as every plan is different based on the details of your particular coverage. We do accept HSAs and Flexible Spending cards.

Our standard counseling session rates are:
$175 for Assessments and Intakes
$125-$175 for 45-90 minutes per Counseling Session
Actual session costs may vary based on insurance contracts. Fee assistance for self-pay clients without insurance may be available upon request.

Good FaITh Estimate

Patients will receive a Good Faith Estimate of costs upon scheduling their first appointment. Please note that this is merely an estimate and can change due to client needs/progress/diagnosis.
